**The IIE Varsity College, Westville Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer(Independent Contractor) within the School of Humanities for the below**:

- Strategic Organisational Communication and Leadership (SOCL8411)

**Competencies required**:

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Effective Classroom Management
- Good Organisational Skills
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- Ideally, a Masters in Corporate Communication or Strategic Communication.
- Alternatively, a NQF 9 qualification that includes a Strategic Leadership and Organisational Communication component.

**Minimum Experience Required**:

- Lecturing experience in Corporate Communication, Strategic Communication, Strategic Leadership or Organisational Communication.

**Research Supervisor (RESE8419)**:
Ideal:
In order to supervise this module, the individual needs to have a minimum of Masters in a cognate field of the qualification s/he will be teaching on and preferably lecturing experience in research methodology.

Alternatively:
NQF 9 qualification that includes an academic research* component

A Research Methodology module should have been successfully completed at NQF 8

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role with lectures taking place between 08h00 and 17h00.
