**Sales Consultant with IT Experirnce**
Required: Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma /B-Tech in IT related field
Required: Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in an IT Environment
- 3-5years IT Solution Sales Experience
- Experience in developing leads and researching potential clients
- Ability to contact customers, complete sales and manage other tasks independently.
- Experience in analysing and compiling IT related bids/tenders/proposals.
Required: Knowledge
- A solid understanding and knowledge of Citrix, Cloud, DAAS & CRM.
- Microsoft solutions, networking and infrastructure knowledge
- Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft Office.
- A very good knowledge of IT Products and services
- A good understanding of cost estimation and financial matrices.

- Liaise with stakeholders and support management decisions by providing appropriate cost information and data
- Meet annual sales target for the business.
- Use various tools, techniques, and sources to identify new opportunities for the business in the market.
- Advice management on new business opportunities.
- Attend site client site meetings/clarification meetings where required.
- Provide cost estimates during change process and advise of cost impact of changes, Track and monitor activity
- Analyse supplier quotes and provide information and data, which aids communications with suppliers and customers and achieves cost optimization
- Support supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for cost reductions to meet target costs
- Support and utilize experience to aid best practice in the supplier process in conjunction with members of the purchasing team.
- Liaise with purchasing department to provide continued feedback to ensure competitive pricing
- Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions
- Monitor and review data and information to detect or assess problems
- Maintain records of estimated and actual costs and Recommend ways to reduce costs
- Quoting customers on their IT requirements. Placing orders and following up with suppliers
- Grow the client database on a monthly basis in line with the targets given by identify and generating new business opportunities
- Actively grow the customer breadth by signing up new customers monthly
- Assisting all customers with queries, quotes and orders
- Build good relationships with your clients by actively engaging with them through communication - E-mail, Telephone, Different Instant Messaging platforms, Customer visits and Face-to-Face
- Selling key components as required by management or Product managers
- Attend product training programs and study and know the relevant product range - In-person events as well as Online
- Outbound telesales (cold calling) to generate leads.
- Time management and fast pace are essential as is being a quick learner, with hands-on training
- Provide sound information and advice, identify the needs of the customer and provide the right solution and feedback
- Must be able to write professional proposals
- Establish, maintain and build strong customer relationships with a consultative sales approach
- Provide regular sales pipeline updates and reporting on all aspects of the opportunities to management
- Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales, as needed on CRM
- Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities appropriate to the level of this post as required by the Managing Director.
