**Division**:

- One of the largest businesses within the Sanlam Group, Sanlam Corporate (SC) specialises in the provision of risk, investment and administration services to institutions and retirement funds. Focused on meeting the unique needs of its diverse clients, SC assists companies in creating and delivering customised employee benefits solutions, including the collection of premiums and communication to fund members._

**The overall purpose of the role**:

- To support the Regional Senior Healthcare Consultant to drive the integrated Sanlam Health retail and SME’s strategy to various Sanlam channels, advisor healthcare partners.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Key support to Senior Healthcare Consultant in overseeing compliance requirements, manage training, knowledge and skill of the Sanlam Connect Advisers.
- To drive integrated health product sales via the accreditation and referral model in Sanlam Connect.
- Monitoring activities of representatives under supervision.
- Support Senior Healthcare Consultants with health and gap cover presentations to employer groups with new group business targets.
- Support in preparation of quotations and recommendation of suitable healthcare offerings to employer groups and their employees.
- Liaise with medical schemes to assist in driving uptake in retail referral and accreditation as well as securing group business.
- Provide professional client interaction throughout all sales processes.
- Act with due care, skill and diligence in the execution of all duties.
- Support in oversight of the following:

- Statutory obligations of the FSP.
- Rendering of financial services of the FSP and individuals authorized to act on its behalf.
- Business processes and operational ability.
- Instill a culture of treating customers fairly in all aspects of the business.

**Qualification and Experience**:

- 2- 5 Medical Scheme sales and Distribution experience within the healthcare industry.
- Own vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- RE5 & RE1
- KI qualification
- Council for Medical Schemes accreditation
- Class of Business - Health
- Class of Business - Short term personal lines

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in advice management processes - advantageous
- Knowledge of selling methodologies.
- Knowledge in planning and co-ordinating of sales initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
