Coot Club Lodge is on the lookout for a passionate, adventurous, and hands-on Activity Guide to join our team. If you love the outdoors, have a knack for engaging with people, and enjoy creating memorable experiences, this role is for you As an Activity Guide, you’ll be responsible for leading exciting outdoor activities, ensuring guest safety, and delivering top-notch service while immersing guests in the stunning natural surroundings of the Stanford Lagoon.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Boating Adventures**: Drive the lodge’s boats to take guests on scenic lagoon cruises and water-based activities such as wakeboarding, skiing, tubing, and sunset cruises.
- **4x4 Beach Excursions**: Lead guests on unforgettable 4x4 trips to secluded beaches, sharing insights about the local flora and fauna along the way.
- **Quad Bike Tours**: Guide guests through thrilling quad bike trails, ensuring a safe and exhilarating experience.
- **Nature Walks and Conservation Tours**: Share your knowledge of the local environment, including the unique Fynbos biome, during guided hikes and educational talks.
- **Equipment Management**: Ensure all activity equipment—boats, quad bikes, wakeboards, kayaks, and SUPs—is maintained, clean, and ready for guest use.
- **Guest Engagement**: Build strong relationships with guests by providing personalized activity recommendations and ensuring they have an unforgettable experience.
- **Health and Safety**: Conduct thorough briefings to ensure guests are aware of safety protocols before participating in activities.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A passion for outdoor activities and adventure.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Good with kids and able to create engaging experiences for families.
- Valid driver’s license (PDP is a plus).
- Knowledge of the local Fynbos and ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Flexibility and a can-do attitude, ready to assist in various lodge duties as needed.
