**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
During the Graduate training program, the graduate will learn how to verify, confirm, settle and reconcile Foreign Exchange Trades. The expectation is to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Client Database Management**
- Managing allocated Client databases and offer support to other team members when needed.
- Proactively identifying potential challenges and opportunities and addressing them promptly avoiding potential future issues.

**Deal Confirmations**
- Assisting the Treasury Services Team in confirming FX deals transacted by Dealer's with the bank by verifying the accuracy and validity of all the deal details and information such as buy/sell, bank deal number, Client details, correct currency, correct amount, correct contra amount, forex rate, value date and the deal date.
- Confirming deals with Clients by preparing and sending deal tickets.
- Maintaining and updating the Client deal recording spreadsheet.
- Assisting other Treasury Services team members with problems and rectifying any issues or discrepancies.

**Deal Settlements**
- Securing / creating the necessary Client settlement documentation.
- Ensuring that settlement documentation is signed by authorized signatory.
- Verifying the accuracy of the information on the settlement documentation.
- Forwarding documentation to bank for settlement.
- Preparing and sending settlement instructions to banks.
- Confirm that settlement and taken place correctly and mediating any issues.

**Relationship Management**
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Following up on the progress of the deal with the bank;
- Liaising with the Client to ensure accuracy of deal and to communicate progress of deal.
- Following up on discrepancies with traders and counter parties.
- Escalating any issues or errors in transparent and timely manner.

**Treasury Systems**
- Monitoring ticket box and assign tickets correctly and accurately and in a timely manner.
- Navigating databases and have a confident understanding of reports and functionality of our in-house system (IT2).
- Consistently improving Client workbenches and reports.
- Logging queries with the TMS (Treasury Management Systems) team regarding system issues.

**COMPUTER SKILLS**
- MS Office Suite

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
- 3 Year BCom Hons degree in Economics / Finance / Econometrics or suitable equivalent
