**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnosing and rectifying all electrical, mechanical and instrument faults utilizing engineering system and practices to ensure the factory is adequately supported for maximum uptime.
- Perform fault finding of production equipment including utilities and execute repair of breakdowns
- Identify, analyse, propose and implement opportunities for improvement
- Replace defective parts of machines as well as adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
- Co-ordinate and plan maintenance related jobs incl. interaction and reports
- Identify, analyse, propose and implement opportunities for improvement
- Lead installation and dismantling of machinery and equipment according to layout drawings, blueprints and designs.
- Installing and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment
- Assist in supervising and coordinating activities assigned to maintenance team to ensure effective service levels and mínimal plant downtime.
- Manage Maintenance team with general maintenance that is trade related.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- SHEQ Responsibilities

Experience Needed:

- Trade Test Certificate: Electrician (Red Seal).
- CoC and Wiremans license will be advantageous.
- Understand blueprints, technical instructions, and electrical drawings.
- At least 5 years relevant work experience as an Electrician within the steel industry.
- Mechanical inclined electrical experience will be advantageous.
- Experience in a leadership role will be advantageous.
- Experience in instrumentation, PLC (S5), AC/DC drives, mechanical
- and electrical fault finding, line control and HMI will be advantageous.
