**SUMMARY OF POSITION**
We are looking for a Remote English Language Instructor to teach English to Kids and Teens _(One month of Adult teaching is required prior to teaching Kids and Teens)_ As a Part-time English Language Instructor for our Kids and Teens program, you must have exceptional communication skills in **English**. You must be comfortable working directly with Kids and Teens in an educational setting. It is also important to be comfortable working in a diverse environment on a flexible schedule. The job is part-time and is meant to supplement one’s primary source of income. We ask that you can commit to providing 4.5 hours of daily availability (your schedule will be solely based on your availability). Training is provided
We provide training and well-designed lesson plans for all levels, to ensure a seamless teaching and preparation experience.
In addition, we pride ourselves on taking care of the more time-consuming tasks such as sales, scheduling, and billing, so that the Instructor can focus on teaching and preparing lessons.
Since this is a remote position, Instructors must meet our minimum technical requirements: 5 Mbps download, 2 Mbps upload speed, a stable cable connection to the internet (wifi is not sufficiently stable), a pc or laptop running Windows 7 or higher, or Mac OS X.1 or higher, and a USB headset.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare for your lessons by going through the provided material and deciding what should be taught and how it can be customized based on the student’s needs.
- Create a risk-free environment where students can feel free to make mistakes and experiment with the language.
- Document their progress after the lesson.
- Your schedule is based solely on your availability. We ask that you can commit to providing 15-20 hours per week.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to speak English fluently.
- Exceptional communication skills.
Technical requirements:
- A minimum of 5 Mbps download speed / 2 Mbps upload speed.
- A stable wired connection to the internet (Wi-Fi is not sufficient).
- A USB headset and a camera.
