**The IIE's Varsity College, Sandton Campus has several vacancies for lecturers in Professional Didactics: Economics, for the below modules **(School of Education).
- Various Modules in Foundation Phase Teaching

**Competencies required**:

- Communication Skills
- Organisational Skills
- Effective Classroom Management
- Open to Development

**Minimum Education Requirements**:

- A minimum of a 4-year BEd degree plus, an Honours (BEd Hons) OR Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours OR Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8).
- The Undergraduate Qualification OR the Honours OR The Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF 8) must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching (PGCE: SP & FET).

**Minimum Experience Required**:

- Tertiary Lecturing Experience would be an advantage.
- Training & Development: 3 years (required).
- Teaching: 3 years (required).

**Working Conditions**:
