Paver

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and compacting surfaces to ensure a solid foundation.
- Lay paving materials such as bricks, blocks, stones, asphalt, or concrete in accordance with project specifications.
- Measure and cut paving materials to fit specific designs or patterns.
- Install edging, curbs, or drainage systems to complement paved surfaces and ensure water management.
- Operate and maintain paving equipment and tools such as compactors, rollers, saws, and trowels.
- Repair and maintain existing paved surfaces, including filling cracks, patching, and resurfacing.
- Ensure all paving work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and project guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and safely store tools and materials.
- Provide input on material selection, layout designs, and project timelines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in paving or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with decorative paving, custom patterns, or advanced paving techniques.
- Knowledge of drainage and water management systems related to paving.
- Familiarity with eco-friendly or permeable paving solutions.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Requires standing, bending, lifting, and kneeling for extended periods.
- May involve occasional overtime or weekend work to meet deadlines.

Pay: R4 000,00 - R5 000,00 per month
