**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
This role would be responsible for supporting and maintaining the SAP Finance solution as part of the Pepkor Centre of Excellence. All SAP Finance related incidents, service requests and change requests will be dealt with. This role would also be responsible for training new SAP users in the Pepkor Group in the specific areas.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the supporting and maintaining the SAP solution from a Functional perspective.
- Work as part of the Pepkor SAP Centre of Excellence and closely with the technical development team at Pepkor IT.
- Primary functional contact person for business and technical realization of requirements regarding FICO business processes on SAP.
- Performance of feasibility studies/solution reviews.
- Understands and ensures that quality standards are met.
- Provide solutions for complex business and system problems, where no precedent may exist.
- Documenting business requirements and functional specifications.
- Configuring the solution to meet business requirements.
- Accurately employs the SAP methodology and documentation tools.
- Meets deadlines and manages time effectively.
- Unit, string, integration and business scenario testing.
- Testing components coded by the software factory.
- Designing and managing user testing.
- Setting up user training material.
- Resolving problems and issues arising from the testing process.
- Researching SAP issues and errors and resolving technical problems.

**JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS**
- SAP Finance Certification required, core modules AP, AR, FA, Banking
- A minimum of 5 years experience in working and supporting SAP S4 HANA version 1809 and above, including SAP implementation experience
- Experience with user training required
- Experience with upgrades preferred
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager preferred
- Competencies: Ability to function within a team environment and have a customer service focus.
