**Introduction**
- The Investments and Savings Team within the Momentum Retail Corporate Actuarial function is dedicated to ensuring the financial integrity and growth of Momentum's long-term savings products, particularly the Investo product. We specialize in the valuation and analysis of these products, adhering to IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 standards, and providing critical insights for strategic business decisions. Our team is committed to continuous improvement, enhancing valuation models and processes while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external auditors. Driven by strong analytical and problem-solving skills, we strive to deliver accurate financial results and support the development and refinement of our savings products.**Role Purpose**
- The Momentum Retail Corporate Actuarial function is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the
- Investments and Savings Team who will be responsible for the valuation of the Long Term Savings recurring
- premium product (Investo).as contributing to data, model, and process developments between valuation periods. Interaction with various
stakeholders, both internal and external, will be required. While the majority of the Investo product range falls
under the IFRS9 reporting standard, there is also a component of the book that falls under the IFRS17 standard.
The role will report to the Head of the Investments and Savings Team within the Momentum Retail Corporate
Actuarial function.

**Requirements**:

- A graduate degree in Actuarial Science or related degree, with the intention of completing the professional
Actuarial exams.
- At least 3 years of experience, with valuations experience being advantageous.
- Good progress with the A series exams.
- Knowledge of valuation modelling software (Prophet or similar) and SQL is preferred.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Quarterly valuations: producing, reviewing, and reporting results to the Head of the Actuarial Function.
- IFRS earnings, EV earnings, SAM earnings as well as SCR and other regulatory calculations.
- Ensure soundness of both liability and earnings calculations by reviewing output as well as ensuring that the
parameters and inputs are accurate and validated.
- Ongoing monitoring of the valuation parameters as well as the annual basis and assumption setting process.
- Valuation model maintenance and development as well as process (reporting, data extraction and creation)
improvements.
- Internal stakeholder engagement with management: deliver financial results and insights including drivers of
results and potential implications.
- Internal stakeholder engagement with business units: assess and implement product upgrades, provide
financial insights to proposed product developments, product changes and repricing.
- External stakeholder engagement with auditors.
