**Factory Plant Maintenance Electrician - Stikland, Bellville.**:
Are you a certified and skilled safety-conscious Electrician with proven experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment and electrical systems?
Our client has a manufacturing plant in Cape Town Northern Suburbs, and requires your ability to minimise downtime of machines through proactive maintenance and swift response to electrical issues.
**Requirements**:
- Matric, and Electrician Trade Certificate
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate in MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Health and safety qualifications advantageous
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Maintenance planning on breakdowns and schedule weekly and monthly services
- Plan and update scheduled maintenance dates with maintenance teams
- Identify additional maintenance checks and procedures and improve where required
- Assist with PLC, HMI and VSD programming and backups
- Assist with networking and integration
- Responsible for remote support on breakdowns
- Responsible for installation, diagnostics and repair of all hardware-related components
- Aiding in the design and functioning of new machines and the maintenance thereof
- Assist in the coordination of assigned machinery maintenance activities, including preparation of the technical portions of Procurement documents
- Responsible for all electrical maintenance check sheets of assigned machines
- Ensure outputs continually satisfy design goals, including functionality, reliability, quality, budget, and timeline
- Note changes and updates on electrical schematics, P&ID and SLD for distribution boards and discuss with Management
- Provide reasons for all variances when reporting and recommend corrective measures for implementation where negative variances are indicated
- Attend frequent, formal maintenance meetings with electrical/design/mechanical maintenance teams
