Our client in Durban is looking for an experienced Operations / Plant Controller to join their dynamic team.

**Daily**
- Control and management of yellow metal and trucks and low beds
- Responsible for all admin regarding the plant hours
- Procurement and management of diesel
- Spending 30 mins per day on leads to business sourcing applicable tenders.

**Weekly**
- Tracker (3 x Per Week)
- Manage and control plant hours, rates, and operators.
- Ensure all records are kept for accurate invoicing.
- Review and approve operator timesheets for payroll.
- Follow up on payments outstanding for 45 days on onwards 2 x per week.

**Monthly / General**
- Vehicle licenses (Once a Month).
- Ensure all plant and vehicles are insured and remove when either sold or written off.
- Keep licenses up to date
- Resolving Customer queries regarding hours / dates & etc. within a 24-hour period.
- Timesheets to be collected by the 26 of each month
- Invoicing of Customers along with complete EPH’s to be sent through to the customer no later than the 30 of each month.
- Quotations & Orders to be sent immediately upon request from customers.
- Drivers / Operators / Workshop days for salaries must be finalized & handed in no later than the 22nd of each month.
- Ensure housekeeping is tidy and up to date and information is easily assessable by everyone when required.
- Create a safety file for all operators & drivers (ID’s, Competency Certs, Medicals and etc) electronic & hardcopies.

**Requirements**:

- Matric Certificate
- Relevant Tertiary education
- More than 6 years of experience in the construction & plant hire industry
- People management
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and time management
- Detailed oriented

**Salary**: R16,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
