Renewable Energy Counter Sales Consultant

**About the Renewable Energy Counter Sales Consultant role**
We are looking for an experienced Counter Sales for our Residential Energy Division in our Hilltop, Germiston branch. The purpose of this role is to fulfil a counter sales support function to existing and potential customers.
Counter Sales Consultant responsibilities:
- Manage and interpret customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and working with customers on Counter sales
- Prepare Quotes, Sales Orders. Follow up on quotes, sales orders, and backorder reports.
- Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, payment performance; communicate all client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as required
- Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth through engagement with current and potential customers within the assigned sales region
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
- Close and grow sales through professional communication and interaction with current and potential customers and provide exemplary customer service throughout the sales cycle
- Establish and maintain productive, long term professional relationships with current and potential customers.
- Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
- Maintain records of customer communications and contact information as required through Hubspot
**_Role requirements are:_**
- At Minimum a Matric/NQF4 equivalent
- Proven track record of at least 1-2 yrs counter sales or frontline sales experience
- Engineering technical sales background an advantage
- Computer literate with advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of NetSuite Oracle ERP (preferred)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Presentable and professional
