The Junior Digital Influence Strategist is a highly curious, collaborative thinker. This will be a key member of the social media team, primarily focused on developing influencer campaigns. The role will also require knowledge and participation in earned, owned and paid channel tactics. The Junior Digital Influence Strategist possesses a deep understanding of social platforms and has a passion for discovering new ways to execute innovative brand campaigns.

This role is tasked with looking for new opportunities for growth and innovation to maintain the client's position as an industry leader, and requires strong technical, service, team and business management skill.

Desired results of this position: ensure client satisfaction, fulfill client objectives, and smoothly execute creative campaigns on social media platforms.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Influencer Outreach and Management
- Identify digital influencers and online media targets, and establish key relationships that convert into meaningful coverage for brands
- Foster and retain relationships with strong networks of influencers to distribute content across channels
- Assist in the creation of all SOW’s for digital influencer programs
- Act as client facing representative on all digital influencer programs
- Communicate progress and status to the client and internal agency teams
- Track budgets and schedules to ensure deliverables are executed on time and on budget
- Plan influencer/brand events and summit kickoffs including travel, venues, hotels, budget, etc.
- Support team/account lead on projects

Platform Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategy and communications plans to engage audiences on behalf of multiple brands
- Keep clients and Mekanism up-to-date on the use/role of existing and new social media platforms
- Collaborate with creative team to develop innovative uses of social technologies
- Relay information internally on technical updates to platforms (API’s, privacy settings, etc.)

Research
- Identify untapped opportunities and trends within social media for clients and pitches
- Proactively identify partnerships and vendors for social media development
- Assist in establishing social media benchmarks for campaign reporting
- Help with outreach efforts to influencers and potential partners

**Qualifications**:

- You must be awesome
- Have a passion for problem solving, creativity and brands
- Have at least 1-3 years of relevant social media/advertising/marketing experience, agency experience preferred
- Be versed in platform specific capabilities and executions
- Passion for the industry, competitive spirit, motivated to learn and grow
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills (copy edit skills a plus)
- Ability to keep pace with our fast moving production pipeline
- Calm and tactful under pressure, able to juggle many tasks at once
- Collaborative and outgoing, with strong leadership skills
- Manage teams throughout project scope to execute jobs on time and on budget
