**Retail Store Manager - Durban**

Building on the core responsibilities of a Retail Store Manager, this position at our client, a leading retailer of branded consumer electronics, audio-visual, and information technology products in Durban, requires additional expertise in the specific industry.

**Sales and Operations Excellence**:

- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Durban market, exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Optimize inventory management by balancing stock levels with customer demand and minimizing product obsolescence.
- Ensure efficient and accurate product displays, highlighting key features and benefits to encourage customer interest.

**Industry Knowledge and Technical Expertise**:

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the consumer electronics, audio-visual, and information technology (IT) industry, including current trends, product lines, and market dynamics.
- Possess strong technical skills and product knowledge to effectively advise customers on product features, compatibility, and troubleshooting issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest product launches, specifications, and functionalities to provide accurate and insightful information to customers.

**Exceptional Customer Service**:

- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints promptly and professionally, and exceeding their expectations.
- Utilize technical expertise to assist customers in selecting the right products based on their specific needs and budget.
- Foster positive customer relationships and build brand loyalty through personalized service and in-depth product knowledge.

**Leadership and Team Management**:

- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team with strong technical knowledge and exceptional customer service skills.
- Motivate and empower staff to achieve individual and team goals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship, ensuring staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:
