Our client specialising in the Transport and Logistic industries are seeking to employ a Data and Reporting Analyst with previous logistics/controller/response centre experience.

**Duties**:
Ensure reports are available for relevant business stakeholders

Collaborate with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s objectives

Analyse business requirements and processes and recommend them to the management for implementation

Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the business

Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the business for efficiency and profitability

Develop reporting standards and procedures to improve on the current reporting processes

Design, develop and implement new reports required to report back at executive level

Agree and obtain requirements for the reports, presentations and frequency of data from stakeholders

Manage the delivery of reporting against the expectations and standards set by stakeholders

Gather data and information from a variety of sources and databases, to produce reports to be used for operational and strategic decisions

Provide structure and uniformity of data collection in order to ensure data integrity and uniformity

Receive business requirements, analyze and interpret core requirements

Works in partnership with Technology and local BI and analytics teams to agree on pragmatic means of data provision to support use cases

Creation and study of the visual representation of data to effectively communicate information clearly and efficiently using statistical graphics, plots, information graphics and other tools to helps users make business decisions.

Interpret data and information to report on trends and highlight risks moving toward predictive & prescriptive analytics

Extract information in order to assess Information integrity and correctness of information

Uses data visualisation to engage audience in a compelling way, enabling effective storytelling

Develop effective and flexible data collection and manipulation measures

**Requirements**:
Matric (Grade 12)

Recognised 3 year degree preferably in Statistics, Business Analytics, or other data related fields.

At least two years’ experience working in a Business Intelligence tool eg PowerBi, Tableau

3 years’ experience in analysing and profiling data

Logistics knowledge (a plus), dealership and workshop experience essential

Good knowledge of innovative solutions and technologies

Good knowledge of Business Intelligence

Sound verbal, written and telephonic communication skills in English

Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Salary Range: R15-R25k per month
