Are you a driven and customer-centric sales professional eager to embark on a new journey? Our esteemed client, a premier distributor of fasteners and hardware solutions, is on the lookout for an External Sales Consultant to bolster their vibrant team.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric Certification
- Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are indispensable.
- Proven track record in a similar role within the industry.
- 1-3 years of experience in Engineering/Fastener Sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational proficiencies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Resolve customer concerns or issues while upholding company values and financial objectives.
- Foster and sustain professional relationships with assigned accounts and targets.
- Provide regular updates on ongoing contracts/projects and identify future growth avenues.
- Ascertain and communicate customer requirements, contributing to prospective expansion opportunities.
- Promote engineering, technical hardware, and diverse tools and services to manufacturing, wholesale, and retail establishments.
- Conduct client visits to showcase products, offer samples, and address client requisites; adept in negotiating new and replacement orders.
- Strategically plan visits to existing clients and prospect for new clientele by liaising with key stakeholders and scheduling appointments.
- Keep abreast of company and competitors' product portfolios; collaborate with sales and marketing units to devise effective promotional strategies.
- Assess and fulfill customers' needs; deliver product explanations and demonstrations, including technical presentations.
- Propose and negotiate prices and credit terms; prepare contractual agreements and maintain order records.
- Furnish sales reports to management and provide insights on marketing strategies for existing and potential clients.
- Deliver formal product presentations utilizing multimedia aids; participate in promotional events and coordinate product exhibitions.
- Actively engage in tele-marketing initiatives.
- Achieve set sales targets and adhere to budgets, leveraging e-business technology where applicable.
