**Job Description**:
Purpose of the Role:

- Provide analysis and counsel on legal issues across SSA and the wider IMETA region (including corporate, commercial, employment and litigation).
- Primary point of contact for all transactional legal issues related to the South African CHEP business.
- Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company. Contribute to the development of company policy and positions on legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to strategy
- Implement the plans set out by IMETA Legal and wider Legal team
- Support and advise SSA and wider IMETA business
- Bachelor's Degree and qualification from an accredited Law School
- 3 - 5+ years post qualification experience
- Prior in-house or large law firm experience preferred
- Experience of commercial contract law a must
- Strong interpersonal, presentational and networking skills
- Strong analytical and technical legal skills - including drafting, negotiating, risk mitigation and problem resolution
- Team player but able to work autonomously
- Familiarity with employment, litigation and real estate law a plus
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain industries a plus

5 - 7 years
