Junior Art Director

As a Junior Art Director at 99c, you will be an integral part of our creative team in Cape Town, focusing on retail advertising. You will work closely with a Group Head and Creative Director to bring innovative campaigns to life. Your role involves conceptualising and executing creative ideas, presenting your work to clients and senior creatives, and ensuring high standards of execution and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute advertising campaigns.
- Present creative concepts and work to clients and senior team members.
- Maintain high standards for execution and attention to detail in all projects.
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in an advertising agency.
- Experience in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Illustrator.
- Experience in social media design is a must.
- Experience in digital and experiential advertising is advantageous.
Desired Skills
- Strong skills in design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong conceptual thinking, interpersonal skills, being a team player, persuasive negotiator, and positive and innovative thinker.
- High standards for execution and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently
- Resourceful and a self-starter.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
