Valve Fitter

**Job Purpose Statement**:
The Valve Fitter must make sure all incoming work is completed in a competent manner. To make sure all documentation is correct, handed over and responsible person notified.

**The focus areas of the role**:

- Servicing and repairs.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Mechanical Fitter (Qualified) preferred.
- Min 5 years' experience in the field or in a related area.
- Knowledge & technical understanding of various valves.

**Key Tasks**:

- Handling of ISO Documentation of valves coming in.
- Servicing of valves and actuators and testing.
- Inform supervisor or lead technician of any machining or supplies needed to the necessary person involved.
- All ISO documents filed and handed over after job completion.

**Skills**:

- Hardworking and driven.
- Computer literate (word, excel).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written).
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good technical understanding.
