Retail store and marketing manager role includes overseeing sales, staff and inventory. Duties and responsibilities:

- Supervise, train and assist employees like Sales Representatives and Retail Store Clerks in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centered on retail trends cycles.
- Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
- Implement cross-training of employees and other managers to maintain productivity at all times.
- Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
- Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
- Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and labour
- Preparing promotional materials and displays
- Managing and overseeing all store operations, developing a routine for opening and closing, ensuring efficient functioning of the shop, managing the sales floor and providing maximum profitability
- Ensuring monthly sales targets are met
- Develop and execute comprehensive retail marketing strategies to drive store traffic and sales

Marketing duties:

- Develop and execute comprehensive retail marketing plans to drive store traffic and sales
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling in-store promotions, displays, and campaigns
- Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Plan and implement product launches, ensuring effective communication and promotion
- Manage the creation of marketing collateral, including signage, displays, and promotional materials

Required qualification and experience:

- Minimum Marketing/Sales related diploma

Minimum 5 years experience in a retail sales/marketing role at a supervisor /management level

Pay: Up to R15 000,00 per month

- Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- retail: 3 years (required)
- marketing: 3 years (preferred)
- sales management: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
