**Quality Assurance Pharmacist - Florida (Gauteng)**

**Salary R576 000pa CTC**

**Key Performance Areas**:
Release of finished goods:

- Assist QA Release Pharmacist in the following activities when required i.e. in QA Release Pharmacist’s absence or when the business requires.
- Ensure release of 3rd party products on time.
- Sends relevant QA reports to contract givers for approval.
- Assist with product release when required.

Documentation:

- Ensure that all queries are followed up and resolved in the shortest possible timeframe within policy framework.
- A professional attitude is displayed when responding to a customer’s needs.
- Co-ordinates/oversees that internal and external customers are constantly updated as to the progress of their queries.
- Consult on QMS reports.
- Ensure that all complaints are responded to by the QMS officer.
- Assist with marketing and regulatory affairs.

Functions:

- Assists QA Manager with overseeing that vendors including service suppliers are audited according to the schedule planned.

Internal Audits:

- Assist QA Manager with overseeing that internal audits are carried out according to yearly schedule compiled by the QMS officer.
- Partakes in internal audits and compiles reports.

Quality Systems:

- Input and assist in management pf the quality system.
- Assist with training for desired level of GMP/annual GMP training.

Documentation Control:

- Ensures change control procedure is managed and controlled according to SOP P016 QAP and other relevant standard operating procedures.

Human Resources:

- Advises QA Manager on requirements for overtime/shifts when deemed necessary.
- Ensures compliance with the SHE requirements.
- Assist with the review and implementation of KAP’s for staff.
- Staff control.
- Assist in monitoring staff performance against standards.

Production:

- Assist with production related QA issues.

S5 & S6 Controls:

- Maintain the S5 S6 registers.
- Ensure control of S5 S6 stock.

**Minimum skills and knowledge required**:

- B.Pharm
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment with QA experience.
- Computer literate, Syspro.
- Valid Registration with SAPC.
