We are seeking the following intern to take part in a 12 month Yes 4 Youth internship where they would be based at a multinational medical company and work in a data analyst role. The intern will be required to provide accurate, efficient, and consistent analysis to influence / support business decisions.

**The qualifying requirements are**:

- Analytical skills, ability to analyze the data ensuring that it makes business sense, work through, and solve problems.
- Confident approach to meeting objectives.
- Manage customers and internal stakeholder’s expectations.
- Highly numerate and attention to detail.
- Communication skills, communicating daily with internal stakeholders, directors, sales force, and other line managers.
- Highly computer literate, experience with ERP systems and Microsoft packages. Microsoft Excel - Advanced knowledge, JD Edwards, and SAP.

Duties would include:

- Establish a productive partnership with the Business Unit Leads to ensure that their data and reporting needs are clearly understood, and appropriate reporting is facilitated.
- Understand Dashboard requirement from different stakeholders and be able to plan and execute based on the requirements.
- Keep consistent Pulse checks with the stakeholders to understand their BI tools challenges to ensure a fulfilled user experience (User training).
- Be involved in Business Planning, Monthly strategic meetings to understand the business Direction and provide Input from a Commex data perspective.
- Learn on the execution of Sales commissions (Incentive) planning, management & support finance in Quarterly accruals and data.
- Provide Assistance to the field Inventory Analyst and Sales Data Lead including Sales targeting and sales territory allocation planning, segmentation & management.
- Learn How to Utilise BI tools (Power BI, OFA (One force Analysis &Hubble,)
- ERP, CRM maintenance (Product and Sales territory maintenance.)
- Be Involved in Project work on the development and improvement of the above in such areas as functionality, useability, and processes.
- Be effective in Providing regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Ensure the weekly, daily, and monthly maintenance of existing dashboards and inform stakeholders of the updates & changes.

The new Learner /Graduate will be able to Learn new BI tools, understand how to Visualise and simulate data across the 3 BU platforms in optimised and effective ways. They will be integrated into a high performing team who will embrace new ideas and opinions and ensure an entrenched working culture is experienced.

**Salary**: R8 000,00 per month
