Operations Coordinator (Rigging Industry) - Gauteng.

Are you an energetic and hardworking individual looking to grow your career in operations? A leading company in the rigging and heavy lifting industry is looking for a **reliable, organised, and hands-on Operations Coordinator** to join their Gauteng team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate day-to-day rigging and transport jobs
- Schedule crews, allocate resources, and update job boards/daily planners
- Communicate with clients, rigging teams, workshop staff, and management
- Monitor job progress and ensure accurate documentation (job cards, timesheets, POs, etc.)
- Prepare costings and ensure all operational paperwork is submitted on time
- Track and manage fuel use, vehicle checklists, and job pack returns
- Issue tools, PPE, job files, and ensure proper record-keeping
- Handle outsourced bookings and follow up on delivery timelines
- Maintain job status updates and provide regular reports to the operations manager
- Assist with general depot admin, planning, and logístical tasks

**Requirements**:

- **Matric certificate** (minimum requirement)
- At least **2-3 years' experience in an operations role**, preferably in rigging, transport, or engineering
- Strong planning and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive and able to work independently
- A practical understanding of mechanical, rigging, or transport operations is a plus
- **Own reliable transport** - this is **essential**
