Our client has a senior position available for an Audit Inspector.

**Requirements**:

- CA(SA) trained in a public practice.
- RA registration would be advantageous.
- Private Sector or IFRS audit experience is essential.
- 6 years post qualification experience.
- Experience as a senior manager in an external audit firm.
- Experience in auditing and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in the financial and banking system would be advantageous.

KPAs:

- Participating in the team planning and scoping of risk-based inspections.
- Inspecting planned audit engagements and quality control policies and procedures.
- Regular interactions with audit firms and discussing findings with the engagement partners and leadership of the firms.
- Demonstrating a high degree of independence and professional judgement.
- Researching and consulting internally on technical matters.
- Preparing high quality reports to be presented to the Inspections committee.
- Preparing high quality inspection files with evidence of inspections.
- Ensure that all INSCOM queries are cleared and provide context and present if required at INSCOM meetings.
- Assist Senior Inspectors in training new inspectors.
- Participating in relevant projects.
- Assist with input on the public inspections report.
- Provide inputs on all the files quarterly.
