Oversees sample taking process and ensures the grading of grain in accordance with statutory requirements

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented team player to join our silo operations as a **Grain Grader Assistant**. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the **grain sample-taking process** and ensuring the **grading of grain** is carried out in accordance with statutory and company procedures.

You’ll play a vital role in protecting grain quality, supporting logistics, and ensuring that every grain delivered meets our high standards.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification
- Experience in the **agriculture sector** will be advantageous
- Completion of all relevant grain grading courses through **in-service training**
- ** Computer literate** with strong administrative background
- Excellent **verbal and written communication skills**
- Thorough, precise, and accurate in execution
- Clear **criminal record**
- ** Traceable references**
- Must be committed to **adding value** to current responsibilities and continuous improvement

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Conduct **grain grading** in accordance with statutory and VKB procedures
- Oversee and execute **grain intake and dispatch administration**
- Perform general **job-related admin** functions
- Handle and resolve **grading-related disputes**
- Successfully **complete all compulsory grain-related training courses**
- Support logístical and operational efficiency at the silo
