Engineer In Training

An industry leader in the manufacturing sector offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Graduate Engineer to spend a year rotating through multiple divisions within their world-class manufacturing facility. A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent attention to detail are essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Working on continuous improvement projects on the line in partnership with Production.
2. Overseeing assigned Engineering and technical projects.
3. Working with the Production team to ensure reliable machine and plant performance.
4. Identification and achievement of measurable technical and process developments and improvements.
5. Ensuring engineering excellence in the Plant.
6. Ensuring a safe working environment by ensuring Safety Best practices.
7. Ensuring Housekeeping and ISO/FSSC standards are consistently maintained.

Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

1. Non-Negotiable: Engineering Degree (BSc/BEng ONLY Mechanical/Electrical or Mechatronics).
2. No Post University experience required.
3. An understanding of Continuous Production processes would be advantageous.
4. Logical and critical thinking skills essential for this position.
5. Happy to work in a Production environment/ Factory floor.
6. Self-motivated, energetic and ability to motivate others.
7. Ability to make tough decisions and manage complexity.
8. Strong communication and people skills.
9. Hands on and get things done type of personality (action orientated).
10. An optimistic and curious mindset.
