Minimum requirements:
- Studying towards a Human Resources qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in HR supporting role dealing with at least 100 employees
- Computer literate Word, Excel
- Previous training and experience in Visio, ERS Biometrics and Afiswitch will be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of labour laws (BCEA,EEA,SDA,LRA)
- Strong Administration Skills
- Good coordination skills
- Recruitment skills
- Training skills
- Conflict management skills
Role and responsibilities:
- Perform recruitment functions
- Coordinate and complete appointments of permanent, fixed term and casual employees
- Conduct Induction and On-boarding on HR practices and ensure departmental induction takes place
- Checking attendance reporting and shifts (ERS system)
- Capture and report on overtime and leave administration
- Payroll Administration (New engagements, increases, movements, terminations, etc)
- Perform key task administration track and control
- Capturing Macro information for payroll submission
- Administration of documentation relating to injuries on duty
- Capturing internal, cross-functional, external and succession training
- Administer employee exit process (exit interview, Alexander Forbes)
