Key Responsibilities
- L&D Strategy & Execution: Compile, submit, and oversee the successful implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) for Sugar Processing Teams.
- Training & Curriculum Design: Conduct competency-based training needs analysis, design training manuals, online learning modules, and deliver technical training interventions.
- Assessment & Compliance: Assess/moderate training interventions, maintain skills matrices with line management, and ensure compliance with the Skills Development Act, SETA, BBBEE, and Income Tax Act.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Supervise internal and external facilitators/service providers, support HR with onboarding, and drive talent pipeline development. Key Requirements
- Must have a strong background within the Sugar Industry
- Minimum of 5 years of technical production experience, ideally having held a Supervisory or Superintendent (or higher) role in Sugar Production.
- Prior experience as a Sugar Process Trainer or a deep passion for training, coaching, and mentoring, ready to upskill in the skills development space will be advantageous
- Grade 12 / Matric and a relevant technical tertiary qualification.
- OD ETDP certification, Assessor/Moderator accreditation, and knowledge of AgriSETA/EWSETA will be distinct advantages. This role will be based on site in Malelane.
