Junior Beauty Buyer

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team in the retail industry. This role is perfect for an individual looking to kickstart their career in procurement and purchasing, providing an excellent chance to learn and grow within the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of supplies and materials, ensuring that the organization maintains a competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities

- Assist in inventory management, ensuring stock levels are sufficient for ongoing operations
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Review and analyse purchase requests and inventory status
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Track and report on purchasing metrics and KPIs
- Support senior buyers in strategic sourcing initiatives
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a relevant industry
- Must have product development and import experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
