Job Description:

Looking for an experienced Fitter and Turner to join a company that supplies a large range of agricultural equipment.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday - 07.30am 16.00

Friday 07.30am 16.00

Responsibilities:

- Assemble, maintain, and repair agricultural machinery and equipment
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate fitting and turning
- Operate lathes, milling machines, and other tools for precision machining
- Manufacture or modify parts as required
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure equipment functionality
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of machinery
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to meet production and maintenance goals

Experience:

- The candidate must have knowledge of agricultural machines and be proficient in turning and milling work.
- Extensive experience in fitting and turning for agricultural machinery
- Proficient in operating turning and milling machines for precision work
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Expertise in machining, fitting, and assembling mechanical components
- Experienced in manufacturing and modifying parts for agricultural equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mechanical repairs
- Ability to perform regular maintenance and preventative servicing of machinery
- Adherence to safety and quality control standards in machining operation
