Your contribution to the energy transition

As a CAD Draughtsperson, you will support engineering, project management, construction, operations & maintenance (O&M), and sales teams in the tender, execution, commissioning phase & handover of a project.

You will be responsible for:

- Creation of drawings for Renewable/Hybrid/PV Projects using Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Supporting the design of 3D elements (e.g., cable entries, foundations)
- Assisting the project team in creating layouts, concepts, detailed designs, and extracting the BOQ through various stages from development to construction and O&M
- Management and documentation of CAD data and files including terrain and GIS data
- Maintaining a high standard in the drawing office environment

You impress us with these qualifications:

- Certified CAD Designer (National Diploma – MDDOP Multi-disciplinary drawing Office Practice N5)
- Two years’ work experience as CAD Draughtsperson
- Ability to prepare design and detail drawings from concept sketches
- Clear understanding of plant design
- Attention to detail
- Accuracy and effectiveness in using CAD software
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to draw and plot drawings to scale with dimensions
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes
- Experience in preparation of Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural Conceptual Designs for approvals
- Receiving external drawings, reviewing, and integrating them into a Master Layout
- Generating bills of quantities from CAD drawings
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations and navigate within an international company
- Ability to work independently

Desirable Attributes:

- Autodesk Certified End User (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Inventor, etc.)
- Proficient with Autodesk Inventor
- Knowledge of Coordinate Systems
- Clear understanding of Renewable plant design / Battery Storage / PV Solutions designs
- Good mental capacity to envision the work before it is done
- Strong drive and sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capable of independent decision-making
- Results and detail-oriented approach
- Strong team spirit
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
