HVAC-Refrigeration Artisans

- Proven working experience in mechanical engineering field, HVAC related
- Responsible for Commissioning, installation, maintenance and repairs of HVAC equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
- Install various HVAC components and systems, including split units and control systems.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements, ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, repair records, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with team members, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff as needed.
- Be available for extended hours and weekends to address emergency situations.

Requirements

- N3-N6 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
- Trade Test (Refrigeration)
- SARACCA Certificate
- In-depth knowledge of installation, maintenance, repairs and servicing of different HVAC Systems, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, split units, VRF's/VRV, packaged units, air handling units, multistage evaporative cooling units and ventilation systems
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
