IT Technician

Fluxory VA is searching for a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our computer systems and networks to ensure our operations run smoothly. As an IT Technician, you will be the go-to person for resolving technical issues, providing support to our staff, and ensuring that our IT infrastructure is functioning optimally. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software malfunctions. Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for staff.
- Ensure data backup and security measures are implemented and followed.
- Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to team members on various IT tools.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures.

Requirements

- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with security and data protection measures.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
