Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager who will be focusing on managing an existing base within our client's sector.
Responsibilities:
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be based on customer spend and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Maintain open communication with teams and clients, ensuring optimal service delivery.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned high-value accounts.
- Understand clients' needs and business goals to deliver tailored solutions.
- Lead negotiations and ensure contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities are explored.
- Manage and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and analyze client performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and operations) to ensure successful implementation of client solutions.
- Track and report on the progress of key accounts, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
- Develop account plans and strategies to grow revenue and ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure expectations are met.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in key account management or business development.
- Strong understanding of the industry and market trends.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Professional certifications (e.g., in Sales, Account Management) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of parcel operations systems and the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Needs to have a drivers.
