Minimum Requirements:

- Millwright red seal.
- Plant level experience with proven maintenance management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Overall, Purpose of the Role

- Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
- Responsible for planned scheduling and timely completion of work carried out.
- Increase plant operational effectiveness, reduction of mean time between failures and downtime.
- Manage and implement improvement plans, ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
- Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department.
- Must be able to respond to calls 24/7 for relevant matters that impact production. Key Responsibilities General and Task Management × Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site. × Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximising plant utilization and reducing unplanned downtime.
- Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift supervisors.
- Ensure routine maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automation/programming systems are undertaken.
- Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions. ×
- Produce written reports.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose/resolve problems. × Identify improvement opportunities
- Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements. Maintenance Millwright
- Manage, coach Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
- Provide technical expertise to the team.
- Liaise and ensure an effective interface with the operating team.
