The suitable candidates main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Routine patrols within a dedicated area of responsibility with focus on crime prevention;
- Identify out of the ordinary behaviour and actions, as well as respond to various types of incidents;
- Patrolling main areas and responding to Alarms, Escorts and removals of disturbances.
- Monitor and report all risk situations;
- Risk reduction including dynamic risk assessment, risk factors and responsibilities after physical intervention;
- Accurate record keeping;
- Security intervention with random searches, traffic controls, first responders to emergencies and Escorts;

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
- Proof and Verification of Grade A PSIRA Certification;
- Valid Code 8 drivers license;
- Firearm competency for Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle
- Regulation 21;
- Recognised tactical training
- Previous experience at operational tactical response level;
- Defensive driving qualification;
- Excellent disciplinary record,
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;
- Own reliable transport
