Structural Draughtsman

Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated Structural Draughtsman to join our reputable client's engineering team in Durban. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to diverse and impactful structural engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

- Create precise and detailed structural drawings in compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to develop efficient design solutions.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software for generating and modifying structural drawings.
- Conduct site visits to gather relevant measurements and data as needed during project phases.
- Review and ensure accuracy in all drawings while maintaining up-to-date project documentation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new drafting technologies.

Requirements

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and building codes.
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
