Senior IT Audit Manager

As a Senior IT Audit Manager at Network Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing the organization's financial and business controls through comprehensive audits and assessments. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in IT audit, financial systems, and business processes.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Comprehensive IT Audit Plans: Focus on financial and business controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
- Identify and Assess Risks: Associated with financial and business systems, recommending and implementing effective controls to mitigate those risks.
- Evaluate Internal Controls: Related to financial reporting, data integrity, and business processes, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure Compliance: With relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and monitor adherence to established control frameworks.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with finance, IT, and business units to understand processes, address control deficiencies, and enhance the overall control environment.
- Prepare and Present Audit Reports: Clear, concise reports and findings to senior management and the audit committee, highlighting key issues and recommending practical solutions.
- Education: BCom in Internal Auditing or Accounting qualification.
- Certifications: CISA/CISM/CPA certification (essential), ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification (advantageous).
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in internal auditing (3 years in a management position), with experience in providing Service organization control (SOC 1 & SOC 2) reporting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and report writing skills.
