Senior Draughtsman for 3D Design

We are seeking a skilled Senior Draughtsman to join our team at Unique Personnel (Pty) Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in 3D design and manufacturing drawing, as well as proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.

The successful applicant will be responsible for communicating with sales and customers, management and workshop staff. They will also be expected to create 3D designs and layouts, and derive project costings through Bills of Materials (BOM's).

Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a draughtsman, preferably in the sheet metal or automotive sector
  • Fully proficient in Autodesk Inventor and able to derive project costings through BOM's
  • Must have own transport to work and back
  • Applicant must be able to work unsupervised and run their own projects
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with 3D scanners
  • FEA software experience
  • ISO system experience
  • Stocking system knowledge
  • Press brake and laser cutter operation knowledge
