Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a trusted adviser for technology across the Group and stakeholders, adhering to relevant technology standards developed by the wider IT Function.
  2. Implement group minimum standards for vendor selection and participate in the selection of vendors with required expertise.
  3. Advise on targets and budgets to support setting reliable and realistic targets and budgets.
  4. Automate repeatable tasks by building technical control capabilities and maturing operational effectiveness.
  5. Build relationships across internal IT teams and with various stakeholders so that business units remain involved and aware of internal developments.
  6. Consider attack scenarios and identify appropriate controls, working with architects and software engineers to specify how information security technologies should be implemented.
  7. Continually review system operations, updating processes and products to mitigate risks as identified and discovered, minimising future incidents.
  8. Design quarterly operational plans and ensure clear articulation and understanding thereof.
  9. Design, implement, and operate proactive monitoring and maintenance support activities to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of services and underlying platforms, minimising information security incidents according to the bank's risk appetite.
Qualifications
  1. A degree in Information Technology is required.
  2. 1-2 years experience in risk management is required.
  3. 1-2 years proven experience in technical and business management is required.
  4. 5-7 years proven experience in software and integration development, databases, operating systems, and network security controls is required.
  5. Technical Skills required: Coding - Python, SQL & PowerShell. Microsoft Power Platforms. Cloud, AWS, Azure will be an advantage to this role. Security experience will also be an advantage in this role.
