About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Specialist to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our treasury front office, you will play a pivotal role in managing our client's treasury activities.

  • You will analyse, coordinate, and execute specialist treasury services for corporate and business units, including cash management, liquidity risk, foreign exchange risk, deal execution, and counterparty risk.
  • Manage key relationships with strategic corporate staff, including finance directors and senior finance managers.
  • Analyse, negotiate, and implement multiple types of external financing transactions for corporate and business units.
  • Deliver expert treasury input to other group finance division projects, such as tax, corporate finance, and financial reporting.
  • Provide specialist advice on suitable investment strategies and external asset managers for rehabilitation liabilities.
  • Identify, develop, implement, and maintain complex quantitative models analysing treasury risks.
Your Qualifications
  • You possess knowledge of South African and international financial markets.
  • You have specialist treasury management knowledge of interest rate, foreign exchange, commodity, and derivatives markets, and risks.
  • You understand treasury risk management principles.
  • You have proven post-qualification experience within the treasury space.
  • A postgraduate qualification, such as CA, CFA, or MBA, is preferable.
