Job Title: Tax Accountant CA(SA)

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant CA(SA) to join our team at Network Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing annual financial statements, managing the control assessment system (CATS), and assisting with cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Annual Financial Statements
  • Manage the control assessment system (CATS)
  • Assist with cash flow management
  • Act as contact for External Auditors and provide needed information
  • Address auditor queries
  • Complete Corporate Income Tax and related schedules
  • Assist with Transfer Pricing documentation
  • Handle Provisional Tax, Deferred Tax, and Monthly VAT Returns
  • Manage statutory submissions and filings
  • File Expat tax returns and resolve tax issues
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Conduct bi-annual Fixed Asset and Inventory counts
  • Prepare Fixed Asset Reports
  • Support month-end closing and back up the Finance Manager
  • Prepare journals and ensure accurate expense recording
  • Assist with monthly reports and manage deadlines
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • CA(SA) Accreditation is preferred
  • Mcom in Taxation is preferred
  • SAIT qualified is beneficial
  • Knowledge of Carbon tax is highly beneficial
  • 5 years post article exposure is essential
