About the Role:
We are looking for an individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendors, onboarding new suppliers, preparing and launching RFQs, and updating contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor documents and update records as needed.
- Vendor Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring seamless integration into our system.
- RFQ Management: Prepare and launch RFQs in alignment with stakeholders, meeting deadlines and expectations.
- Contract Management: Update all contracts within our system, ensuring accurate and timely renewal of contracts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between suppliers, internal departments, and customers, resolving any issues promptly.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Identify potential suppliers, build relationships with existing ones, and maintain up-to-date supplier base records.
- Administrative Support: Assist with creating purchase orders, supporting cost savings initiatives, and contributing to overall team efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management, or Logistics Management.
- 0-1 year of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong desire to develop a career in purchasing and enthusiasm to learn and grow with our company.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality when required.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software systems.
