**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Grief Counselor.

The successful candidate will provide emotional support to individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to suicide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering 1:1 psycho-social and practical support through face-to-face, telephone, or digital mediums.
• Assisting individuals with practicalities such as dealing with authorities, funerals, and media coverage.
• Conducting training workshops and awareness sessions for health and social care professionals.
• Fostering positive relationships with service users and stakeholders while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Promoting the service at community events and forums.

Requirements:

Experience in supporting individuals bereaved by suicide or carer/bereavement support services.

Emotional resilience and ability to manage emotionally demanding situations.

NVQ 3 / QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care or related subject required.

Strong organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills.
