Job Description

TalentCru is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is in compliance with all relevant anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Risk Management
    • Assist in the identification and assessment of compliance risks associated with anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations.
    • Develop and implement effective compliance risk management strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting
    • Monitor and report on compliance risks and issues related to anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations.
    • Provide regular updates to management on compliance risk status and any necessary corrective actions.
  • Compliance Awareness and Training
    • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations and their responsibilities in complying with these regulations.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on compliance-related matters.
  • Compliance Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Ensure that all compliance-related documentation and records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
    • Maintain a comprehensive compliance manual and ensure that all employees have access to it.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • LLB, BCom, or equivalent qualification.
    • A certificate in Anti-Money Laundering Control.
    • Accredited or certified member of the Compliance Institute of South Africa (CISA).
    • CAMS Certification will be an added advantage.
    • A certificate in compliance management will be an added advantage
  • Experience
    • At-least 8-10 years' experience in the anti-money laundering control/ counter terror financing and sanctions environment.
    • At least 5 years in management and leadership role.
    • Sound experience in report writing and presentation.
    • Knowledge of Siron system will be an added advantage.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
