Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

Location: Woodmead, Gauteng

Salary: R21 200 per month

Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional to support our clients' financial operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to customers, either in person or via phone, providing information or liaising with the responsible department.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support operationalisation of administrative and accounting activities.
  • Perform related tasks as requested by superiors, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently.
  • Ensure preservation of company assets, including vehicles, equipment, resources, and facilities.
  • Adhere strictly to all company and client procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Properly use uniforms and protective equipment provided by the company.
  • Commit to operational goals agreed upon with the client, DPO/VPO, and the Excellence Programme.
  • Carry out accounting activities specific to urban distribution of beverages.
  • Handle deposits and bank payments in accordance with scheduled dates and management's instructions.
  • Verify accuracy of Drivers' records and control physical-financial accountability.
  • Accurately record entries in the unit's operating system.
  • Conduct analysis of transactions performed, supporting consolidation area in calculating results.
  • Maintain routine management items related to financial aspects through periodic reports, striving to meet set targets.

Requirements
  • Experience in an accounting or accounting clerk role.
  • Fluency in English is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
