Job Title: Picker

At HR Genie, we are seeking a skilled Picker to join our team. As a Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient picking and building of pallets for break bulk distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and assemble pallets according to order specifications.
  • Ensure pallets are correctly labeled and ready for dispatch.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the picking area.
  • Report any issues with stock levels, product quality, or equipment to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential)
  • Up to 6 months of experience in FMCG, Distribution, or Warehousing environments.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
Key Qualities:
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in picking and assembling orders to minimize errors and returns.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items throughout the shift.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify issues in the picking process and escalate or resolve them promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to meet collective goals and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing learning and improvement to enhance performance and efficiency.
