• Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize losses.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting for future inventory needs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure inventory is efficiently utilized.
• Comply with health and safety regulations in handling and storing materials.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends for management review.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• 3 years of proven experience as an Inventory Officer or similar role in the mining industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
• Working experience on SAP (PM module).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to inventory management.
• Valid driver's license (Code EB 08).
